The best trip to Rome

Gudrun and me at Piazza Venezia

It was just the best trip to Rome. Everything was just perfect! The city is just unbelievable, the food is so delicious and I couldn’t have wished for a better travel buddy. It was the first time Gudrun and I traveled together but we realized that we are a good match – like in so many other ways! As if that wasn’t enough the sun was shining every day of our trip and our cheap room turned out to be super nice with a private bathroom that had this huge bathtub. Sweeeeeet! It is called Booking House and is on Via del Macao 3. As a bonus, our favourite restaurant “Steak House” (don’t worry, they do Italian cuisine, even though it doesn’t sound very Italian!) and favourite Gelateria “La Romana” are only 3-5 minutes away by foot. So delicious and so cheap. We ate so well those days, haha! Another thing we have in common, besides our love for food, is taking pictures. We have so many nice pictures, so I tried to pick the best ones from the first day for this post. I hope you like them!

Verde Pistacchio is also a great place to go if you want some delicious Italian Gelato. Gudrun wasn’t happy about her empty cup, haha! I love this picture so much.
